How Our Office Serves You
The County Surveyor provides surveying services at the direction of the courts, to resolve disputed property lines or to partition estates, and also serves the needs of the Board of Supervisors and other divisions of the county, as well as individual land owners within the county. The County Surveyor’s office is Fee Based which is negotiated at the time of service. An hourly fee schedule is available upon request.
Services provided include but are not limited to: Property Boundary Surveys, route surveys for utilities and roads, right-of-way and easement surveys, legal descriptions for preparing deeds, topographic surveys for construction, establishment of horizontal and vertical control networks for construction, construction layout, and Elevation Certificates.
Mr. Eaton is a graduate from Mississippi State University with a B.S. Degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology & Business with a specialty in Land Surveying. He has 15+ years of Land Surveying experience and the Owner / Project Manager of Eaton Land Surveying. He is currently licensed in Mississippi and Alabama as a Professional Land Surveyor and a member of the Mississippi Association of Professional Surveyors and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
