I am honored to serve as your Sheriff. I believe in a firm but fair approach to law enforcement. Through a combination of Community Policing concepts and aggressive drug enforcement, my department works to make Monroe County a better and safer place to live and work.

How Our Office Serves You

Communication with the citizens of Monroe County through programs like “Neighborhood Watch” and Partnerships with surrounding law enforcement agencies at the county, state, and federal level are priorities for his administration.

The Sheriff’s Office also hopes to cut down on the rate of recidivism within Monroe County by implementing programs and opportunities to help those incarcerated to break free of addiction and be equipped with the tools they need to have the best chance of success upon release. This can only be accomplished through partnerships with churches, businesses and other organizations that desire to see lives changed for the good.

The Sheriff’s Office will continue programs like the elderly call list, where elderly residents of Monroe County can receive a daily welfare check by telephone.
